Most of what is registered here is not a business
Of the 267 registered entities, 114 are trading businesses. The other 153 are holding and investment vehicles, single-property companies, dormant shells and the resort's own brand entities. A raw count of companies registered at Aphrodite Hills addresses therefore overstates the business population by more than double.
Most of the trading happens outside the resort gate
36 of the 114 operating businesses are registered inside Aphrodite Hills itself. The other 78 sit in Kouklia village, Ha Potami and Secret Valley, the ring immediately around it.
Per area the split gets sharper. Of 130 entities registered inside Aphrodite Hills, 36 trade, so roughly seven in ten are holding or property vehicles. In Kouklia the figure is 70 out of 103. Anyone drawing a guest list from inside the resort alone would be working from about a third of the businesses in the district.
