What this site is
An independent, privately run site for a small business circle in the Paphos district of Cyprus. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Aphrodite Hills Resort Ltd, the Aphrodite Hills Residents Association, the Kouklia Community Council, or any bank, law firm, estate agent or corporate services provider. Where those organisations are described on this site, they are described from the outside, from public information.
The guide is information, not advice
The guide covers corporate tax, company formation, banking, hiring and residency. It is general information written to help you ask better questions, and it is not legal, tax, immigration, employment or investment advice. It does not create a professional relationship of any kind.
Cyprus rules, rates and thresholds change, sometimes substantially and sometimes mid-year. Figures carry the date they were last checked. Confirm anything you intend to act on with a licensed Cyprus lawyer, accountant or immigration adviser first. Decisions made on the basis of this site alone are your own.
The landscape figures
The landscape pages are derived from a dated snapshot of the Cyprus company register together with hand review. They are offered as good-faith research rather than as an authoritative census, they rest on judgement calls that reasonable people would make differently, and they are soft in places. Anyone relying on them for a decision should check the register themselves.
About the image on the homepage
The landscape on the homepage is the limestone plateau above Kouklia, looking out over the sea, and it is a generated illustration rather than a photograph. The place is real and it is where most of the companies on the landscape pages are registered, but that particular image was not taken with a camera and should not be read as documentary. Nothing in it is the resort, its golf course or any of its buildings.
It will be replaced with an actual photograph. Saying so seems better than letting anyone assume otherwise on a site that asks to be trusted on its numbers.
Attribution and reuse
The underlying company register data is published by the Cyprus Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property under CC BY 4.0. The aggregate figures and the writing on this site are the work of the Circle. Quoting them with a link back is welcome and needs no permission; presenting them as your own is not.
Invitations
Asking for an introduction does not create any entitlement to one. There is no membership, no fee and no contract, and invitations are issued and withheld at the host's discretion.

This site links to external sources, mostly to let you check a claim against its origin. Those sites are not under this one's control and linking to them is not an endorsement of them.
