Where you work from
Paphos has a small but real coworking and serviced-office scene, priced well below Limassol. A registered office address (needed for the company itself) is cheap and usually bundled with a local corporate services firm; an actual desk or office is a separate, larger line item if your team is more than one or two people.
Distance has a cost
Most Cyprus banks, larger law firms, and the bulk of the country's tech and services talent sit in Limassol or Nicosia, both over an hour away. Founders based in Aphrodite Hills tend to budget for that directly: more video calls, occasional travel days, and a genuine preference among hires for remote-friendly roles.
Staffing
See the hiring page for the detail. The short version: a small local team costs meaningfully less than an equivalent team in Western Europe. For senior hires brought in from outside Cyprus, the 50 percent tax exemption narrows the gap further still.
