Owners, founders and senior executives of a company that trades in or around Aphrodite Hills or the wider Paphos district in Cyprus. It does not matter where you live, whether you own or rent, or how many months of the year you are here. There is no minimum revenue or headcount. ### What does it cost? There is no fee, no membership and no contract. The table splits the bill. A firm in company formation, banking, tax or immigration may sponsor an evening later, and if so that is said at the table and the sponsor follows the same rules. If the host could earn an introducer fee from an introduction, the person being introduced is told before they act on it. ### How does a dinner work? Twelve people sit at one round table, a few times a year, in or near Aphrodite Hills. Everyone gets two or three questions in advance and goes round the table on them with a timer. Nobody presents and nobody sells. At the end each guest is asked for one more name. ### What is said at a dinner, and what stays there? The Chatham House Rule applies, in its actual wording: you may use what you hear, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker, nor of any other participant, may be revealed. Everyone agrees to it out loud at each dinner. The guest list is not published or shared. ### How do I get invited? Ask for an introduction using the form. The host reads every request personally, talks to you before anything else, and checks with the people who have already sat at the table. You then come to one dinner as a guest, and afterwards you both decide whether to carry on. Most requests do not lead to an invitation straight away, because a table seats twelve and each one is mixed across trades. ### Who runs it, and is it connected to Aphrodite Hills Resort? Amos Weiskopf runs it, through his company Tevelis Limited, which is registered at Adonis in Aphrodite Hills. It is independent: it is not affiliated with Aphrodite Hills Resort Ltd, Aphrodite Hills Realty, Aphrodite Hills Resort or the Aphrodite Hills Residents Association. The name comes from the goddess Aphrodite, who is said to have risen from the sea at Petra tou Romiou nearby. ## Pages - [Homepage and request form](https://aphroditecircle.com/): the whole site is this one page - [The letter from the host](https://aphroditecircle.com/#letter) - [The Table: 85 seconds of pen and ink drawings, no words spoken](https://aphroditecircle.com/#drawings) - [What an evening is like](https://aphroditecircle.com/#evening) - [The questions asked at the table](https://aphroditecircle.com/#questions) - [The businesses of the district, by trade](https://aphroditecircle.com/#trades) - [Ask for a seat](https://aphroditecircle.com/#ask) ## About the figures The page states that 114 operating businesses trade within a few kilometres of Aphrodite Hills, in eighteen trades, out of 267 registered entities, run by about 127 people.
